EPCCC Annual Meeting - Between a Rock and a Hard Place - Estate Planning in MA 2024 Edition
Please join us at the Hyannis Port Golf Club for our annual meeting where Anna Byrne will be hosting a discussion regarding the increased Massachusetts estate tax, a review of filing thresholds and estate tax calculations. She will discuss the Massachusetts "millionaire tax” who it impacts and how is it calculated. A review of the Massachusetts Non-Resident Income Tax rules (830 CMR 62.5A) to understand the MA long income tax “arm” if your clients are contemplating a move out of Massachusetts.
The first 25 registrants will recieve a complimentary copy of Anna's book: “The Inheritor’s Guide”, A Legal, Financial, and Emotional Guide to Managing Your Parents’ Estate.

Guest Fees & Rules: Guest fees of EPCCC members are now $50.00 and are due prior to or at the time of the event. Guest fees can be paid on our website via credit card, or at the event via credit card, cash or check payable to EPCCC. PLEASE NOTE: You may only attend a lifetime maximum of three (3) EPCCC meetings as a guest—beyond that, you must become a member. If you become a member on the day of the meeting you are attending as a guest, we will credit the guest fee against your membership fees.
Anna Byrne Bio:
Anna is an estate planning attorney with almost 30 years of experience. Her decision to establish Eckert Byrne LLC stemmed from a desire to create estate plans that encompass more than just the transfer of tangible assets. Her life experience as a young widow revealed a need to pass on wisdom and values to help those left behind. She has committed the last fifteen years to creating a team that shares this vision.
Anna is also the author of two books. In 2016, she published the book, A Widow’s Guide, to help women who have lost a spouse through their first year. In 2021, Anna published her second book, The Inheritor’s Guide: A Legal, Financial, and Emotional Guide for Adult Children Managing Their Parent’s Legacy. The Inheritor’s Guide is a manual for anyone who has lost a parent and wants to gain an understanding of the step-by-step process of transitioning wealth from one generation to the next.
Anna has received numerous accolades over the years.
